Fun in the sun!

Last week the weather was perfect for some water fun!

5 Little speckled frogs

As we posted on the blog 2 weeks ago, Alpha children have been learning and role-playing the song
"Five Green Speckled Frogs". 
Children have fun singing, counting and pretending they are little frogs.

Ice Painting

        Art in the Alphas is all about exploring 

different materials.

Children could explore a new way of painting last week. 

We froze some paint in ice cube trays and 

got colourful iced paint. 

While painting, they could feel the texture 

of the paint, the temperature and 

experiment with different ways of applying it to the paper or their own body...

So much fun...
